What this guide helps you do
Reports turns a selected channel's public YouTube data into a client-ready PDF. This guide explains how to save your agency identity, choose the correct report scope, review the PDF, and share it safely.
The Channel to analyze field on the Reports page is independent of the channel selected on the Dashboard. Verify this field separately before every report.
The Client Reports screen
The page has two main sections:
- New client report: Select the channel, period, language, and client details used to create the PDF.
- Agency identity: Save the agency name and logo displayed in reports.
If the page is unavailable or shows a lock, your current plan may not include the feature. Follow the on-screen guidance and check Subscription for the current terms and entitlements.
Prepare your agency identity
In Agency identity:
- Enter the name you want displayed in the report under Agency name.
- Optionally upload an Agency logo. The interface accepts PNG or JPEG files up to 200 KB and recommends a horizontal logo.
- Check the preview for an outdated or incorrect image.
- Select Save agency identity.
Do not put confidential client information in the agency name or logo. Because this identity can be reused in later reports, generate a new report after a change to verify the result.
Create a new client report
Complete the fields in New client report in this order:
- Channel to analyze: Select the channel the report should cover. Do not rely on the Dashboard header; read this field's value.
- Reporting period: Choose Last 30 days or Last 90 days. The period changes which videos and performance summary are included.
- Report language: Choose Turkish or English. This controls the report text; it does not change the channel or YouTube content language.
- Client / organization: Identify who the PDF is for.
- Report title: Use a clear description of the purpose and period.
- Review the fields, then select Create and download report.
Keep the page open while Preparing report is shown. After the success message appears, open the downloaded file and verify its name, channel, language, and period.
What the PDF contains
Using the selected period and available public data, the report summarizes:
- Three prioritized, evidence-linked decisions or actions,
- The last 7 days compared with the previous week,
- Five leading videos from the selected period,
- Engagement quality using average, median, and range,
- Channel and video evidence supporting the findings.
These measures are not interchangeable. A few unusually strong videos can move the average; the median represents a more typical result, while the range shows how widely results vary. Avoid making a decision from one number alone.
The report is limited to available data. It does not include private channel metrics such as CTR, watch time, conversions, or demographics when YouTube does not expose them publicly. Do not present a missing metric as an observed fact.
Guided task: Coğrafyanın Kodları
On July 17, 2026, complete this check:
- In Channel to analyze, select Coğrafyanın Kodları.
- Choose Last 30 days and Turkish, then enter a client name and a descriptive report title.
- Before creating the report, confirm the channel, period, and language aloud or against a checklist.
- Download the PDF and compare the last-7-days section, five leading videos, and three recommendations with their supporting data.
- If a recommendation is not clearly supported, flag it for review before sending the report to a client.
This is a dated example. When you perform it, rely on the current values and timestamps shown in your account.
Loading, empty, and error states
- Loading: Wait for the channel list and access state before making a selection.
- No channels: Add one through Channel Management first.
- Preparing report: Do not start the same report repeatedly; wait for the first request to finish.
- Error: Confirm that the selected channel is still available, required fields are complete, and your connection is working, then retry.
- Locked feature: Follow the plan guidance on screen. Do not assume a fixed price or entitlement.
Checklist before sharing
- Are the channel, client, period, and language correct in the PDF?
- Are the agency name and logo current?
- Does the report evidence support each recommendation?
- Does any wording imply that a private channel metric was available?
- Will the file be shared only with its intended recipients?
After download, you are responsible for the PDF's access control. Do not place client names or other personal or business information in public links.
